PAWTUCKET – The
Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame (RIMHOF)
in partnership with The Ocean Mist will
hold "The Unity Concerts," a
weekend-long event with 100% of proceeds
to benefit the TUNE IN & TUNE UP R.I.
Musicians Health Awareness Program, on
Saturday, November 9, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday, November 10, from 2
p.m. to midnight.
The two-day concert
fundraiser will take place at
The Ocean
Mist, 895 Matunuck Beach Rd., Wakefield,
RI.
Admission is $20.00 per day or
$35.00 for a weekend ticket.

or at the door.
Participating bands,
who are all donating their performances,
represent a who's who of Rhode Island's
vibrant music scene.
On Saturday, the
lineup is: Adrienne West and the Tabers,
Rossoni, The Brian McKenzie Band, John
Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, The
100 Watt Suns, and The Rudy Cheeks Band.
Sunday's lineup
features: Kim Petrarca, Ken Lyon, The
Zimmermen, Longshot VooDoo, Becky Chace,
Mark Cutler, Pendragon, Roomful of
Blues, Steve Smith & the Nakeds, and
James Montgomery.

Overnight
accommodations at the Hampton Inn South
Kingstown are available on Friday,
11/8, Saturday, 11/9 or Sunday, 11/10,
evening at a rate of $99.00 per night
(+ taxes). Complimentary breakfast
is included in your room rate. Tickets
to the concert at Ocean Mist, located
just 14 minutes from the hotel, may be
purchased in advance at the Hampton Inn
at a rate of; one day ticket Saturday
Nov. 9th or Sunday Nov. 10th $20.00,
weekend ticket both concerts $35.00

The TUNE IN & TUNE
UP Rhode Island Musicians Health
Awareness Program is a new initiative of
the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame
which seeks to direct Rhode Island
musicians seeking basic and preventative
care to affordable health care programs.
TI & TU members are also eligible for
discounts at area health and wellness
retail locations and will get free
admission to a planned series of
health-related forums geared
specifically to musicians.
